Ambrosial Sky was bought by May in September for Cyndy's birthday present. We were known as Koi Enishi once before, but the server that hosted it [Servage] lacked the great things our new server [Hostgator] has. Koi Enishi, if you break it down, meant "Destined Love". Koi Enishi was successful, but there were times the site went down or had issues on it. We had Koi Enishi for about exactly two years since October 17th, 2007.
So then, May and I came across Hostgator when we were on a webhost-hunt. Hostgator's plans don't trap you into 6-month deals like Servage does. You can pay monthly, which is absolutely great. The speed is excellent, uploading is fast, adding hostees has never been this quick before. The tech support is also amazing and are very helpful. There are more good reviews for hostgator than bad. So we know for sure we want to stick with this one.
So we had to move every single hostee with us to the new server. It was a painstaking process, but alas we got it done, and all problems were settled. So then we focused on Ambrosial Sky itself.
The name came to be when we were deciding what the site should be called. We had a list of words, and well, we like heavenly-sounding names. They sound happy, calm, and peaceful. 'Ambrosial' is another word for 'heavenly', as for 'Sky'... well, that's self-explanatory :)
Cyndy has always been interested in webdesigning; she's been doing this for years. She started out on xanga, with a measly and supern00b layout site. Over time she found that it was her hobby and she enjoyed layout-making, and has wanted a domain of her own for so long. May granted that wish and Cyndy is ever-so-grateful to her sweet lover for performing such a thoughtful gesture for her for her birthday. And Cyndy loves her May so muchies, for May brings so much love, happiness, smiles, and laughter into her life ♥ =P
And here we are today, Ambrosial Sky standing strong, and so are we, two lovers madly in love with each other, hand in hand and always there for one another.
